Invitation for the SUBMISSION of PAPERS

Dear Colleagues
It is the intention of the conference organising committee to produce a book with a selection of papers from the conference. We would like to invite all contributors to send a full length version of their intended papers. Submissions will be peer-reviewed. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is XXXX. We have included specific guidelines below:

GuideLINES For SUBMISSION of PAPERS

PAPER TITLE [Times NEW ROMAN 14, bold, centred, Upper Case]
Author Name1, Author Name2 [Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, centred]
1Author Affiliation (COUNTRY) [11-point, italic, centred]
2Author Affiliation (COUNTRY) [11-point, italic, centred]
E-mails [11-point, italic, centred, separated by comas]

Abstract [Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, centred]

This template will assist you in formatting your paper. Please, copy it on your computer and insert the text keeping the format and styles indicated. The various components of your paper (title, abstract, keywords, sections, text, etc.) are already defined on the style sheet, as illustrated by the portions given in this document. [Times New Roman, 10-point, justified alignment]

Keywords: Innovation, technology, research projects, etc. [Times New Roman 10-point, justified alignment].

1. SECTION [Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, upper case and left alignment]

There is a limitation of 10 pages. All pages size should be A4 (21 x 29,7cm). The top, bottom, right, and left margins should be 2,5 cm. All the text must be in one column and Times New Roman font, including figures and tables, with single-spaced 10-point font. [Times New Roman, 10 point, normal, justified alignment]

1.1 Subsection [Times New Roman, 12, bold, left alignment and capitalize the first letter]

The text included in the sections or subsections must begin one line after the section or subsection title. Do not use hard tabs and limit the use of hard returns to one return at the end of a paragraph. Please, do not number manually the sections and subsections; the template will do it automatically.

1.1.1 Sub-subsection: Guidelines for Abbreviations and Acronyms

Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text, even after they have been defined in the abstract. Do not use abbreviations in the title or heads unless they are unavoidable.

1.1.2 Sub-subsection: Guidelines for Figures and Tables

Tables, figures, and graphics should be centred, numbered and accompanied by a legend. Figure captions should be below figures; table heads should appear above tables. Insert figures and tables after they are cited in the text. Use the abbreviation “Fig. 1”, even at the beginning of a sentence.

1.1.3 Sub-subsection: Guidelines for Page numbers and Footnotes

Please, do not add any kind of pagination anywhere in the paper. Avoid using headers and footnotes outside the page margins (2,5 cm of white margins).

1.1.4 Sub-subsection: Guidelines for References

The list of the references should be given at the end of the paper. Please use APA referencing style. The American Psychological Association (APA) referencing system is one of the most common in the social sciences. For those who are unfamiliar with the style, guidelines are provided at any of the following web addresses:

http://www.library.auckland.ac.nz/subjects/med/pdfs/apa-guide.pdfhttp://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/basics-tutorial.aspx
http://library.curtin.edu.au/local/docs/referencing/apa.pdf

These url’s represent only a selection. The internet is full of custom written APA guides provided by universities for free.

SECTION

Use as many sections and subsections as you need (e.g. Introduction, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, etc.) and end the paper with the list of references.

REFERENCES [Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, left alignment]
The actual references should be written in Times New Roman, 12-point.
