The Department of Education and Social Policy of the University of Macedonia and the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, cordially invite you to the Conference “Lifelong Learning: Interdisciplinary Approaches”. The conference will take place on the 28th and 29th January 2011 in the Conference Hall of the University of Macedonia. It will commence on the morning of the 28th January and will last until Saturday evening, the 29th January.
Lifelong Learning constitutes a key element within contemporary education. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that scientific theory and research is employed to address the meaning of lifelong learning in 21st century society and the practical issues thereof. The conference will be of interest to professionals and scientists, and all those involved in Learning. In particular, the conference will address the interdisciplinary nature of learning in contemporary society.
The conference program will include contributions from both Greek and international academics. The conference program included scientists from the following fields: Adult Education, Special Education, Moral Philosophy, Epistemology, Philosophy of Science, Medical Education, Biology, E-learning/Computer Science, Psychology, Counseling and Vocational Guidance. In addition, the conference will include a special session devoted to the research of postgraduate and Ph.D students.
